As QESH Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment within innovative Biotech Science laboratories. You do this by informing, advising and coaching the QESH team on all aspects of QESH to promote a secure, healthy, incident-free workplace both today and in the future. Your key responsibilities include:
- Act as an advisor, coach and trainer for line managers in their daily activities as being a leader and a role model for SHE and Q within the organization.
- Coach and train (new) laboratory employees regarding application of QESH. This concerns practical measures to be used in the experimental setup, as well as to the workplace (ergonomics checks) in labs and offices.
- Build, maintain, manage and improve the QESH Management System.
- Guide and support compliance to new and existing Q and SHE legislations, requirements and standards (including the execution of gap assessments)
- Organizing and executing audits and management review
- Lead SHE Risk assessments in labs and offices, such as assessments on Job Safety, Health Risks, Machine Safety
- Lead & report Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) to determine the causes leading to QESH incidents and to gather effective solutions
Wat vragen wij
For this role as QESH Specialist we are looking for you when you recognize yourself in the following profile:
- Hbo or MSc degree in the field of Life Science or Biotechnology
- Strong experience working within a R&D and/or Laboratory environment
- Relevant QESH, Quality Management and/or SHE experience in an industrial laboratory organization
- A degree in Safety Engineering (HVK, MVK) is considered as a plus
- Being skilled in application of dedicated software and digital tools is a prerequisite
- Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken)
- Flexible, result oriented mindset, can-do mentality

- Salary indication from €4500,- to €6300,- gross per month based on a full-time position
- Full-time position (40 hours/week)
