What will your job be
As a (Senior) Research Associate, Product Discovery you will work in a team of Scientists and Research Associates dedicated to the discovery of therapeutic antibody products. You will be responsible for studying the mechanism of action and anti-tumor activity of the antibody products.
- Use your knowledge and experience in the field of immunology and
tumor cell biology to accurately execute experiments in assigned
research studies
- Work with a variety of techniques and asays, such as: cytotoxicity assays, ELISA, Luminex and primary cell isolations
- Document and process test results, draw conclusions and report these to the team
- Investigate disease biology, antibody mode-of-action and antibody response using state-of-the-art-technology
What are we looking for
For the position of Research Associate, Product Discovery we are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor (BSc or HBO), or MSc. degree in Cell or Molecular Biology, Immunology or a related field.
- Approximately 3 years of relevant experience within immunology and tumor cell biology is preferred from either academia or industry
- Experience with Flow Cytometry and subsequent analysis
- Experience
with primary cell isolations from human blood, cell culture,
functional cellular assays and related immunological techniques
- Experience with small molecule inhibitors and chemical handling is preferred
- You have strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Candidates with PhD experience are not considered for this research associate position

Long term position, starting with a one year contract at the hiring company
Fulltime position, but 4 days a week is also negotiable

You will become part of AIRCO subteam, part of the Product Discovery team within Genmab where they are working on a broad set of in-vitro and ex-vivo experiments to study the mechanism of action and anti-tumor activity of new antibody products.
