What are you going to do?
As a Field Service Coordinator, you are responsible for the planning, organization, and optimization of field service activities for GC and Elemental products. You manage service planning, training, customer relationships, and process improvements, while providing technical support when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating service technicians for daily operations
- Optimizing processes and efficiency, with a focus on improvements
- Managing escalations related to technical issues and customer relationships
- Handling work orders and invoicing
- Organizing and coordinating training for customers and technicians
- Making decisions on service work, such as pricing agreements and discounts (within established limits)
- Monitoring and improving customer satisfaction (NPS)
- Ensuring compliance with service protocols and building strong customer relationships
- Coordinating inventory for repairs and transfer management
- Occasionally performing installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance at customer sites within the EMEA region
- Developing and managing service contracts, including communication and administration
- International travel within the EMEA region (up to 15% of the time)
What do we ask?
From a Field Service Coordinator GC, we require the following:
- Completed HBO degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in a field service, service coordination, or technical support role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with analytical instruments (GC, elemental analysis, chromatography, or similar)
- Problem-solving ability and customer-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English and Dutch; additional European languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally (~15%)

- Long-term employment, starting with a one-year contract directly with the company.
- Full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Salary range: €4,000 - €5,500 gross per month based on a full-time position.
- Compensation for business travel.
