Ozan Arikan
Ozan has been working at CheckMark for almost 10 years and manages the team of recruiters. With his degrees in Biology and Molecular Medicine, he focuses primarily on helping lab managers and other senior positions within CheckMark. Ozan is committed to a positive working atmosphere and a strong team spirit among recruiters. He is proud of the professional development of his team members.
Na Rae de Jong
Na Rae has been linking professionals with career opportunities in chemistry and life sciences for over 10 years. With this extensive experience and a PhD in chemistry, she knows better than anyone which candidates are suitable for which positions and she enjoys the impact of every successful match. In addition, Na Rae is actively involved in developing new business relationships and strategies, making her indispensable for expanding CheckMark's network.
Jurjen Wilschut
Jurjen focuses on recruiting for laboratory and sales positions. He enjoys the variety in his work, from advising clients to coaching junior recruiters. After his MSc Life Science & Technology at Delft University of Technology, Jurjen developed himself in both recruitment and account management. He is proud of the lasting relationships he has built with clients, which makes them view CheckMark as a trusted partner.
Frederique Leroy
Frederique helps candidates with different backgrounds in chemistry and life sciences find a new job. Thanks to her experience as an account manager for laboratory analysis instruments, she has developed a broad knowledge of this sector. Her passion lies in interacting with candidates, in which she invests a lot of time. Helping professionals find a job they enjoy gives her energy.
Sophie Bijkerk
Sophie mainly focuses on recruiting and seconding chemistry professionals to various companies and laboratories. Thanks to her experience in a hospital laboratory, she can use her technical knowledge to help candidates find a new job. Sophie enjoys supporting both clients and candidates and the close collaboration within the team.
Jonathan de Ruiter
Jonathan is responsible for recruiting and guiding candidates through their application process. With an MSc in Chemistry from Leiden University, he uses his expertise in chemistry and life sciences to conduct in-depth interviews and find the right match for both candidates and clients. Jonathan is proud of his many success stories, helping professionals find new jobs.
Iris de Ligt
Iris specialises in matching candidates within the food industry. With a background in Food Innovation, she has in-depth knowledge of sustainable nutrition, food product development and quality processes. She enjoys talking to candidates and finds satisfaction in helping food, chemical and life sciences professionals find a new job they can thrive in.
Dennis Timmerman
Dennis is responsible for matching candidates with suitable positions within chemistry and life sciences. He enjoys helping and advising people on a daily basis and brings valuable experience from his PhD in Cell Biology and Clinical Oncopathology. His greatest motivation is the enthusiasm and joy of candidates he has helped find a new job.
Human Resources and Financial Administration
CheckMark’s HR and administration support team takes care of the day-to-day administrative side of things, from HR administration to payroll processing and invoicing. They are ready to answer all questions regarding HR and administration.
Barbara Spikker
Barbara is responsible for administrative matters within CheckMark. She ensures that all financial and HR administration processes run efficiently and is one of the points of contact for seconded and agency workers. She offers support in the event of any questions or problems regarding HR and administration.
Denise Haagen
Denise has been working at CheckMark since 2013 and manages the administrative matters within CheckMark. She appreciates the diversity in her role, from working with figures and administrative systems to maintaining contact with employees. She is also one of the points of contact for seconded employees in the event of questions about HR and administration.
Office and sales support
CheckMark’s office and sales support team ensures that everything runs smoothly in the office and supports sales activities. They organise meetings, publish vacancies and maintain contact with clients. If you call us, you will probably speak to one of them on the phone!
Charlotte la Lau
Charlotte has been a familiar face since 2007 and the first to see you when you enter CheckMark. She welcomes candidates and clients and ensures that everything runs smoothly within the office. From organising meetings to advertising job openings, her days are never the same. Charlotte enjoys the variety in her work and the challenges that come with it.
Lillie Merkestijn
Lillie combines her experience in sales and customer management with a passion for teamwork and a result-oriented approach. She appreciates the team dynamics and the room for personal input within CheckMark. Motivated by the challenges of acquisition and customer relationship management, Lillie prides herself on the lasting relationships she builds, often resulting in clients opting for CheckMark's services.

CheckMark’s management team brings extensive experience and expertise in the recruitment industry. They work closely together to move CheckMark forward, with a focus on customers and employees. Their joint efforts and collaboration strengthen the company in all aspects.
Manon van Meel
As co-founder and owner, Manon has been involved with CheckMark from the outset. She is closely involved in developing the strategy and running the business together with the Management Board. Manon appreciates the freedom in her role, which allows her to develop strategies that benefit both clients and the team. She is proud of the fact that CheckMark has been an expert and reliable recruitment partner in the market for almost 30 years.
Sven Hemmink
Sven manages the CheckMark team and is jointly responsible for strategy and business operations. Started in 2001, after completing a Masters in Chemistry and working as a research analyst for a short period of time, he helped CheckMark grow into a leading recruitment agency in food, chemistry and life sciences. After all these years, he still draws a lot of energy from determining CheckMark's course together with the team.
Cora Bos
Cora has been leading commercial strategy and services at CheckMark since 2010, with a strong focus on account management and relationship management. With a background in international service management and sales, she contributes to business development and customer-oriented services. Cora is proud of her role in the growth of CheckMark and supports the recruiters in their development in the areas of customer focus, commercial thinking and taking action.
