As a Senior Chemical Analyst Petrochemistry you will perform physical chemical analyses on petrochemical products and you will manage your own analytical equipment. Experience in petrochemistry and looking for a new challenge? This could be your job!
Strong Dutch language skills are required.
What are you going to do?
As a Petrochemical Chemical Analyst, you are fully responsible from A to Z for your equipment and test results. You perform physico-chemical analyses on products from the refinery and also have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects.
Your tasks include:
- Performing physical chemical tests on petrochemical products (e.g. flash point, distillation, density, sediment, rheology)
- Managing your own analyzers: maintenance, communication with suppliers, calibration, and standards management
- Contributing to projects such as implementation of new equipment and automation
- Direct contact with end users and other departments
What do we ask?
We ask the following from a Petrochemical Chemical Analyst:
- A completed Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Analytical Chemistry
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience and knowledge of petrochemical products
- Experience with performing physico-chemical tests commonly used in petrochemistry
- Good command of both Dutch and English
- A proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and ability to work independently
(32 - 40 hours/week)
What do we have to offer?
- Long-term employment with an initial one-year contract via CheckMark
- Salary indication: €55,000 to €70,000 gross per year based on 40 hours/week
- Contract for 32 – 40 hours/week
- Day shift
