What are you going to do?
As a Recruiter in Chemistry and Life Sciences, you connect and guide candidates in finding the right opportunities within our field—ranging from operators, lab technicians, and analysts to engineers, scientists, QA specialists, and lab managers. A strong combination of technical expertise and people skills is essential.
You act as a trusted partner for clients, candidates, and seconded employees, providing expert advice and managing the entire recruitment process from start to finish:
- Identifying job openings and requirements with clients.
- Developing and executing online and offline recruitment strategies.
- Conducting in-depth interviews with candidates, both in-person and online.
- Introducing suitable candidates to clients.
- Supporting candidates throughout the hiring process, from the first interview to a successful placement.
You will also represent CheckMark at career events, conduct workshops at vocational schools (MLO, HLO), and universities, serving as the face of our organization.

What do we ask?
You have a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.
Work experience is not required, but you are service-oriented, proactive, and enjoy working in a commercial environment.
You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English. You are organized, communicative, and able to maintain oversight in a dynamic work environment.
You live within a reasonable commuting distance from Gouda or are willing to relocate.
(32 - 40 hours/week)
What do we have to offer?
- Salary range: €2,900 - €3,900 gross per month (full-time), depending on relevant work experience.
- Contract: One-year contract with the possibility of a permanent position.
- Working hours: 32-40 hours per week.
- Benefits: Travel allowance, profit-sharing scheme, company laptop and phone, and a daily company-provided lunch.
- Flexible working hours: Start your workday between 08:00 and 09:30, with options for remote work.
