What are you going to do?
As an R&D Product Development Specialist, you will primarily work in the laboratory, developing, testing, and optimizing innovative formulations used in the printing, packaging, and labelling industries. In addition, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks:
- You will be involved from A to Z in the development of new products, as well as the modification and optimization of existing formulations
- You will analyse the developed formulations using techniques such as cloud point determination, Karl Fischer (KF) titration, cohesion and dispersion testing, microscopy, viscosity measurements, and rheometry
- You will prepare and implement new raw materials, products, and processes
- You will contribute to pilot plant experiments
- You will be responsible for the registration, management, and maintenance of formulations in SAP
What do we ask?
For the position of R&D Product Development Specialist, we are looking for an enthusiastic and creative candidate who matches the following profile:
- Completed vocational (MBO), higher professional (HBO/BSc), or MSc degree in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Product Innovation, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrable affinity with or experience in product development within the polymer, paint, or ink industry, or experience in physical and/or organic chemistry
- Enthusiastic recent graduates with relevant experience in product development are also very welcome to apply for this position
- Good command of both Dutch and English
- Proficiency in German is considered an advantage
(32 - 40 hours/week)
