Are you an experienced QA Manager with a strong background in the food industry, and do you know how to take food safety and quality to the next level? For an international producer within the food and agribusiness sector, we are looking for an experienced QA Manager Food.
What are you going to do?
As QA Manager Food, you will be responsible for Quality Assurance at the production site in Amsterdam and lead a team of 7 quality professionals. In addition, you will focus on the following:
- Leading the Quality department and safeguarding food and feed safety;
- Monitoring product quality from raw material to finished product;
- Managing and improving quality systems and procedures;
- Coordinating laboratory activities, audits, and quality controls;
- Initiating improvement actions and maintaining contact with internal and external stakeholders.
What do we ask?
For the position of QA Manager Food, we are looking for an experienced quality professional who is confident, decisive, and comfortable taking responsibility within a production environment.
You bring:
- A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of leadership experience within QA/Quality;
- Knowledge of standards such as HACCP, EFISC, and FSSC 22000;
- Experience within a crushing or oilseed processing environment is an advantage;
- Good command of English; Dutch is a plus
(40 hours/week)
What do we have to offer?
- A one-year contract directly with the company;
- Salary starting from €4,000 gross per month based on full-time employment, depending on experience;
- Full-time position (40 hours per week), with 32 hours negotiable;
- Day shift
Where will you be working?
This international organization operates within the food industry, processing agricultural raw materials on a large scale into high-quality ingredients and products. At the production site, various departments work closely together across production, quality, logistics, and supply chain. Within the laboratory, the focus is on reliable analyses, product quality, and supporting an efficient and safe production process.
