What are you going to do?
As a Chemical Analyst Maintenance, you will start your day early in the morning, traveling from home to a production site in your company car. At the location, you will work with various chemical and biological measuring instruments, carrying out control, operation, and maintenance tasks. With your strong communication skills, you leave a professional and representative impression.
This role is ideal for laboratory technicians who enjoy freedom, being on the road, a passion for chemistry and troubleshooting, and daily interaction with different people.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and operation tasks on instruments such as LC-DAD, IC, FTU, EGV, and biological monitoring systems.
- Assess and troubleshoot malfunctions in measurement systems and installations, resolving issues as independently as possible.
- Collaborate within a team and proactively engage with colleagues and customers.
- Contribute ideas for improving work processes and installations.
What do we ask?
From a Chemical Analyst Maintenance, we require the following:
- Completed MBO-4 degree in Chemistry.
- Experience with IC, LC-DAD, pH, EGV, and FTU analyses, or the ability to learn these quickly.
- Strong focus on quality, with an understanding of the importance of working accurately under quality standards (such as ISO 17025).
- Good communication skills in Dutch.
- A strong sense of responsibility, combined with a proactive and self-starting work ethic.
- Residence in North Holland and possession of a valid driver’s license.
(32 - 40 hours/week)

Salary range: €2,900 - €3,800 gross per month based on full-time employment, excluding a 22% flexible budget.

Where will you be working?
Our client in Zaandam conducts high-quality research on water. As a leading laboratory—also on an international level—they focus strongly on collaboration with research institutions both domestically and abroad. The organization employs around 100 people, and you will be working in the team responsible for control, operation, and maintenance of various chemical and biological meters at assigned production facilities.
