What are you going to do?
As an LC and GC Chromatography Analyst, you will be responsible for performing, checking and reporting chromatographic (LC and GC) analyses on various environmental samples. You will monitor the daily analysis workflow, identify deviations and ensure that results are available accurately and on time.
- You check chromatography systems, integrations, standards and analytical results and identify any deviations
- You prepare samples, replenish systems with eluent and standards and process urgent samples according to schedule
- You carefully assess and report results in the LIMS system
- You carry out basic checks and basic maintenance on the equipment and contribute to order, cleanliness and quality within the laboratory
- Quality, safety and teamwork are key and during your onboarding period you will receive guidance from experienced colleagues and have several evaluation meetings
What do we ask?
For the position of LC and GC Chromatography Analyst, we are looking for a level 4 vocational chemical-physical analyst with an interest in chromatography
- Experience with LC and/or GC techniques is a strong advantage
- Experience with environmental analyses, such as PFAS, PAHs, PCBs, oil, dioxins or pesticides, is an advantage
- You work accurately according to established methods, quality standards and safety regulations
- You communicate clearly with colleagues about progress, deviations and priorities
- You have sufficient command of the Dutch language to work safely, follow work instructions and report correctly
(32 - 40 hours/week)

- Long-term employment, starting with a one-year contract through CheckMark
- Gross monthly salary of €2,900 to €4,500 based on full-time employment
- A 32–40-hour working week
- Day shifts
Where will you be working?
Our client in Deventer is an international and accredited laboratory specialising in environmental and water analyses. The laboratory analyses soil, air, water and wastewater samples using various chromatographic techniques. You will join a diverse and collegial laboratory team with a down-to-earth working atmosphere.
