What will your job be
As Study Manager you are responsible for the management of Measurement Services projects and operations of the analytical testing and support laboratory. You will manage a portfolio of projects and interface with customers to design and execute sample testing projects and scientific studies. In this process, you will provide technical and application support to the Sales Team by joining customer meetings, preparing study plans and providing costs overviews. Subsequently, you will be responsible for the completion of the study, in which management of junior staff is a big part of the day-to-day business. Finally, you will act as as a lab point-of-contact for the QA Manager. Alltogether, you key responsibilities will be:
- Management of customer Measurement Service projects (pharmaceutical sample testing, scientific studies)
- Management of the laboratory and junior lab staff for the execution of project work
- Generation of measurement study protocols
- Analyzing and interpreting measurement results, as well as writing and reviewing Measurement Services reports
- Performing Measurement Services at customer's site and advice to customers about measurement projects
- Coordination of quality topics linked to the laboratory quality system
What are we looking for
For the position of Study Manager we are looking for driven candidate with relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and solid project management skills. You recognize yourself in the following profile:
- A MSc or PhD degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry or related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry (familiarity of GMP/GLP guidelines is a plus).
- Proven ‘lab based’ experimental and analytical skills and experience
- Strong self-reliance and self-organizational skills with the ability to give guidance to a small lab team
- The ability to work effectively in a small entrepreneurial team and with multicultural customers
- The ability to readily respond to changing circumstances and expectations
- Strong written and verbal English and Dutch language skills
- Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- You are in the possession of a BSN
What do we offer

- Salary indication from €4200,- up to €5500,- gross per month
