Wat ga je doen
As a Specialist Sensory Panels you will be responsible for proposing, designing, and conducting sensory studies, and you will also supervise the sensory panels. Your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Translate business needs into proposals for sensory studies
- Design, prepare and conduct sensory experiments from start to finish
- Supervise the sensory panels This includes training and maintenance of panels, leading the sensory sessions, preparing and collecting data using specialized sensory software (EyeQuestion) and securing adherence to good sensory practice standards
- Determine the best way to analyze the data using appropriate software, preparing reports and give recommendation on follow-up work
- In parallel, Coach and organize sessions for informal project team tastings; The results of the panel tests are contributing to R&D projects, sample release of production samples and other business requests
Wat vragen wij
For the role as Specialist Sensory Panels we are looking for a candidation with plenty of initiative to maintain and develop the sensory panels. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:
- BSc degree in the nutritional field, and affinity and experience with working with sensory panels
- You can work with Microsoft Office and preferably are familiar with EyeQuestion software
- Having the ‘NIMA/MOA sensorisch onderzoeker A’ degree is a big plus
- Good communication capabilities (Dutch and English)
- As a person you are hospitable, enjoy working around people, work accurately and can be strict if necessary

- Salary indication from €3400,- gross per month based on a full-time position
- Full-time position (40 hours/week), where 32 hours a week is negotiable

As Specialist Sensory Panels you will be part of the The Sensory group consisting of two Sensory specialists/Panel leaders and one Technician. As a new member of the team you will be working closely to your sensory colleagues to support the sensory panels.
