As an Service Manager you have the responsibility to oversee the entire Service organization. You will be responsible for the effective delivery of quality service through management of several Service Engineers, Planning and Aftermarket business for GC and HPLC laboratory equitment. Wat ga je doen

As a Service manager you have the responsibility to manage a team of service engineers, by providing leadership, support and guidance. Apart from that, your main task will be:

  • Improve Service response time and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee the daily work: Planning installations, Service and PM’s
  • Consistently looking at ways to improve the quality of our service
  • Use/Implement Sales Force to increase efficiency in your day to day job
  • Monitor the installed base and make sure installation reports and service reports are well docu-mented
  • Monitors department issues and client complaints to define patterns and work to lessen those recur-ring issues
  • Improve profitability of the service department by offering service contracts, Preventive maintenance, spares and consumables, training and other activities to close the gap with existing and new customers
  • Provide customers and channels with solutions to help improve their downtime: Service Kits, PM Kits
  • Assists with or performing administrative tasks

Wat vragen wij

For this position we are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are service oriented and have good management skills. We invite you to apply if you recognize yourself in the following profile:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline such as Analytical Chemistry or Electronic Engineer
  • Professional experience with Chromatography, preferably Gas Chromatography or HPLC
  • Experience as Service Engineer or Service Manager is a pré
  • Management skills
  • Commercially driven and service oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Able to travel worldwide (travel time 30%)
