Wat ga je doen?
For the role of Senior Scientist Immunology we are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Scientist with a strong background in immunology and/or cell biology, ideally with expertise in human B cell biology and experience in the discovery and characterization of therapeutic antibodies.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Design and execute functional assays to evaluate the activity of therapeutic (multi-specific) antibodies developed using our proprietary technology platforms.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data — including your own, that of research associates, and data generated by external collaborators.
- Apply your scientific insight to drive early-stage discovery projects forward.
- Take the lead in your studies and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and develop promising lead antibodies.
- Collaborate with leading academic and industry experts to strengthen our R&D efforts.
- Clearly report and present research findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Wat vragen wij?
In the role of Senior Scientist Immunology you leverage your expertise in immunology, cell biology, or biochemistry to improve the efficacy of next-generation therapeutic antibodies. With a solid foundation in pre-clinical research and hands-on experience in cell-based techniques, you bring a flexible, pragmatic mindset that fits well within our entrepreneurial environment. You are not only scientifically strong but also capable of translating complex data into meaningful conclusions.
You bring:
- A PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field. Proven experience in human B cell biologoy research is considered a very strong asset.
- At least 3 years of relevant scientist experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with a range of cell-based laboratory techniques (PBMC isolation, multi color FACS, etc.)
- The ability to independently analyze, troubleshoot, and clearly report complex data.
- A creative and solution-oriented approach to scientific challenges combined with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Adaptability, a fast-learning mindset, and a hands-on attitude.
(32 - 40 uur/week)
