As a Senior Analyst Chromatography, you will work in the QC laboratory performing various analyses such as GC-MS, ICP-MS, and LC-MS. Maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration are also key aspects of your role. What are you going to do?
As a Senior Analyst Chromatography, you will work in a team of 20 colleagues in the laboratory and act as the right hand of the Quality Manager. You are responsible for testing and analyzing consumer products. The recently expanded laboratory features state-of-the-art analytical techniques such as GC-MS, LC-MS, and ICP-MS. In addition to performing analyses, you will process the results in LIMS and use your experience for troubleshooting and maintenance. Furthermore, you will manage and update the procedures and work instructions of the department’s quality management system.
Responsibilities:
- Working with techniques such as GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-MS, XRF, and FT-IR, and performing various physical tests
- Calibrating, checking, maintaining, and troubleshooting instruments
- Interpreting results and processing them in LIMS
- Managing and updating the procedures and work instructions of the department’s quality management system
- Acting as the right hand of the Quality Manager
- Taking on various side projects, including lab safety, waste management, and the implementation/validation of new analytical equipment
What do we ask?
For the position of Senior Analyst Chomatography, we ask the following:
- Completed HLO degree in Analytical Chemistry
- Candidates with an MSc background who aspire to an operational hands-on role will also be considered
- At least 5 years of experience working in a QC environment (ISO 9001 or ISO 17025)
- Experience and affinity with instrumental analysis, including extensive experience with LC-MS and/or GC-MS
- Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment
- A hands-on mentality and a proactive work attitude
- Fluent in Dutch with a good command of English
- Residing within a maximum radius of approximately 30 km around Amsterdam
(40 hours/week)

- Salary indication from €3500 to €4800 based on full-time employment, excluding holiday allowance
- Full-time position of 38.75 hours per week, with the option to work 4 days per week
