What are you going to do?

As a Quality Advisor, you are the driving force behind the continuous improvement of quality within the organization. You serve as the point of contact for all quality-related matters and ensure that the organization continues to meet the highest standards. You guide internal audits, train colleagues on quality awareness, and keep all quality documentation up to date, accurate, and effective. Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and managing the quality system in accordance with ISO 17025
  • Coordinating and supporting internal audits and preparing for external audits (RvA)
  • Reviewing, revising, and approving quality documentation, SOPs, and records
  • Monitoring compliance with laws and regulations and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Developing and updating the QHSE policy with a focus on innovation and employee well-being
  • Advising and training laboratory staff on quality and safety procedures
  • Maintaining contact with certification bodies and regulatory authorities
  • Reporting to management and actively contributing to continuous improvement

What do we ask?

For the position of Quality Advisor, we are looking for an experienced quality professional with a background in a laboratory environment. You combine accuracy with persuasive communication skills and know how to motivate colleagues to see quality as a natural part of their work. You bring:

  • A hbo degree in a laboratory, chemistry, or life sciences discipline
  • Proven experience in a quality role with ISO 17025 and/or GMP
  • Experience with quality audits, document control, compliance, and communication with authorities such as RvA, NVWA, or IGJ
  • Strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and approving quality documentation
  • Excellent communication skills, a coaching attitude, and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written

temporary contract with option for permanent

  • Long-term employment, starting with a one-year contract directly with the company
  • Salary range between €3,861 and €5,354 gross per month based on full-time employment
  • Flexible employment benefits budget of 22% (WWb Collective Labour Agreement)

Where will you be working?

Our client in Haarlem is a leading laboratory specializing in water quality. With expertise in chemistry, biology, and toxicology, the laboratory supports water authorities and partners in monitoring the quality of drinking and surface water. Approximately 100 employees work at our client’s facility.
