What are you going to do?
As a People Manager Operations, you lead a team of approximately 35 people working across production, maintenance, and warehousing. In this role, you act as a people manager, supporting your team members in their development and addressing their needs. As a visible and approachable leader, you quickly identify bottlenecks and challenges on the floor. Leveraging your experience in plant management, you optimize work processes and implement and uphold quality and compliance standards. Your responsibilities:
- Leading a team of approximately 35 people and overseeing all operational activities, including warehouse management and production
- Acting as a people manager, building connections and coaching team members to support their development
- Ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to safety regulations
- Optimizing processes and striving for operational efficiency and cost savings
- Implementing and maintaining quality and compliance standards
- Collaborating with other departments to exceed customer expectations
- Managing budgets and overseeing cost control within operations
- Contributing to strategic decision-making
What do we ask?
We require the following from a People Manager Operations:
- A completed HBO degree, preferably in Chemistry or a relevant field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within logistics, production, or chemical distribution
- Work experience within a BRZO organization is mandatory
- Strong leadership skills and experience in team management
- Extensive knowledge of safety and quality standards is a plus
- Experience in conducting plant surveys/audits
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English
(40 hours/week)
What do we have to offer?
- One-year contract directly with the company with the prospect of a permanent position
- Salary indication of €6000 to €7800 gross per month based on full-time
- Annual bonus of approximately 10% (dependent on company and personal performance)
- Employment of 40 hours per week
- Flexible start time between 06:00 and 08:45
