What are you going to do?
As a Laboratorist Biology, you will primarily be responsible for performing various molecular, biochemical, and microbiological laboratory tests. This includes:
- Testing medications on various in vitro systems, often focusing on cell and/or bacterial models.
- Utilizing various techniques such as FACS/Flow Cytometry and conducting protein assays such as Western-Blot and ELISAs.
- Purifying DNA/RNA/proteins and processing biological material for diverse analyses.
- Performing classic microbiological tests such as endotoxin and microbial count determinations.
- Accurately reporting and documenting data.
- Working in accordance with SOPs and possibly under GMP/ISO quality standards.
What do we ask?
For the positions as Laboratorist Biology, we are looking for enthusiastic MBO-3, MBO-4, or HBO candidates who have at least (internship) experience with some of the mentioned techniques. In summary, we are looking for:
- Completed MBO-3, MBO-4, or HBO education in the field of (micro)biological/biomedical laboratory research.
- Relevant (internship) experience with molecular biological techniques such as cell culture, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, or (q)PCR.
- Relevant (internship) experience with classic microbiological techniques such as endotoxin and microbial count determinations.
- Experience working under GMP and/or data processing via LIMS/SAP is a significant advantage.
- You speak fluent Dutch.
