What are you going to do?

In this role as Key Account Manager, you will operate in the international Life Science market and be responsible for leading and managing the integration of laboratory automation software and systems. You will also manage the (key) accounts assigned to you and hunt for new business opportunities. You will have complete freedom and be in charge of the whole sales process: from acquisition and inquiry to proposal and price negotiation. Your tasks will include:
  • Effectively selling the various product lines strategically. These include both capital equipment and service contracts.
  • Handling sales inquiries, including negotiation discussions.
  • Managing the CRM system, including adding new contacts, companies, systems, sales, and tracking business opportunities.
  • Maintaining your own Key Accounts and assisting colleagues when necessary. Worldwide flexibility is expected in this regard.
  • Promoting innovative services and products at conferences, trade fairs, and events. You will represent the company on an international stage.
  • Developing an acquisition and sales plan, and mapping markets and trends.

What do we ask?

As a Key Account Manager Life Sciences, you have extensive sales experience and a completed education in a relevant Life Sciences field at a at least hbo level. 

  • Extensive strategic sales experience from a position as (Key) Account Manager or Sales Manager
  • Relevant experience with capital investments, for example in sales of complex (laboratory) systems
  • Confidence, a high degree of independence, strategic thinking, and strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly and internationally
  • Strong command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written. French and German are a plus
  • A valid driver's license (B)
4500 - 6500 per month
one-year contract with option for permanent
