What are you going to do?
As a Food Product Developer, you will develop new products and improve existing ones. You will be involved in the entire process: from product concept to trial formulation, realizing the product (on a small scale), and testing products in a production environment. Additionally:
- You will monitor the status of various phases of product development and provide the necessary data on time
- You will work on optimizing both new and existing formulations
- You will organize or guide test sessions (sensory research) within the team and/or with customers
- You will maintain contact with customers, raw material suppliers, and other external parties
- You will keep track of food trends and know how to translate these trends into a new or improved product that meets the company's needs
What do we ask?
For the position of Food Product Developer, we are looking for MBO, HBO, and university graduates with specializations such as Food Technology, Food Science, Food Commerce & Technology, or Food Innovation. Additionally:
- You have relevant (internship) experience in product development
- Experience with the entire product development process from start to finish is a plus
- You are fluent in Dutch or English
- You are creative, hands-on, and communicate easily with other departments, including purchasing, marketing, and production
(40 hours/week)
What do we have to offer?
- Depending on our client, it will either be a direct contract with the company or a secondment through CheckMark
- Full-time position (40 hours/week), though a 4-day workweek is usually negotiable
- Day shif
