In this role as Account Manager Laboratory, your focus is on maintaining customer relationships. You will advise laboratories in various industries and assist them with an extensive product range. What are you going to do?
In this role as Account Manager Laboratory, you are responsible for maintaining an extensive client base of contract laboratories, petrochemical companies, and breweries throughout the Netherlands. You will work closely with your internal sales colleague to respond to customer inquiries, advise them on options, and facilitate the sales of various laboratory equipment and furniture. Your responsibilities include:
- Independently visiting customers to maintain relationships, further expand them, and close deals
- Advising which products are best suited for the activities/needs in the respective laboratory. In addition to lab knowledge, a broad interest in various laboratories and their work is especially important
- Your advise towards clients will be primarily based on product knowledge and understanding of the client needs
- Additionally, you will carry out various marketing activities such as creating brochures, conducting email campaigns, attending trade shows, and giving presentations
What do we ask?
For the role of Account Manager Laboratory, we are looking for a communicative and enthusiastic candidate who recognizes him- or herself in the following profile:
- Laboratory education at a minimum of MLO-4, preferably HLO level
- Several years of laboratory experience within the industry, preferably in the field of analytical chemistry
- Experience in a sales or field service role is a plus but not a must
- Strong communication skills, ability to connect with customers, and a proactive attitude
(40 hours/week)

Salary indication of €3500 to €4500 gross per month based on full-time

Full-time (40 hours/week), with 32 hours/week negotiable

Our client in Geldermalsen has been a well-known supplier of a wide range of laboratory products for 40 years. With a small team of 15 people, they supply laboratory equipment, consumables, and furnishings to many customers in the Benelux and even worldwide.
