What will your job be
As a Technical Expert Chromatography you play an important role in developing and deploying a broad range of technological advancements in chromatography, mainly in liquid and ion chromatography (LC/IC) but also supporting gas chromatography (GC). By doing so you enable reliable measurements in the liquid and gas phases for applications ranging from Downstream, Upstream, New Energies, Integrated Gas as well as a number of R&D programs:
- Design, develop, validate, deploy and maintian various complex chromatographic analytical instruments and methods, such as HPLC, IC, and SEC.
- Perform day-to-day hands-on work in the laboratory as well as supervision of laboratory staff, while paying close attention to safety and quality
- Manage multi-disciplinary global projects to ensure customer technical needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Closely interact with internal customers with high level op stake-holder management
What are we looking for
From a Technical Expert Chromatography we ask the following:
- PhD degree in analytical chemistry with at least 5 years of relevant academic or industry experience is required
- Proven experience in analytical project and R&D development and employment is required
- This included experience in supporting large-scale R&D projects working across organizations
- Expertise and hands-on experience in setting up various LC/IC hardware including various detectors, columns, and data systems
- Strong interpersonal skills
What do we offer
- One year contract directly at the company, with intent to become a permanent contract
- Salary indication starting at €4000,- gross/month based on fulltime. Salary increases based on experience
- A 13th month bonus and holiday pay
- Fulltime job, however 32hours/week is an option as well
